   i don’t know about numbers but I can tell you this, The Harry Potter books have sold more copies and generated more hype than the twilight series. I would recommend you search for books sold for each and generate your data that way.

    Well statistically speaking Harry Potter has made more money then twilight, but you have to take into account that there are more harry potter books and films. There are toys and stuff which there isn’t of twilight (yet).
